Chrisan Herrod, Former SEC CSO, Joins RiskWatch as EVP
Chrisan Herrod, former Chief Security Officer for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, has joined RiskWatch (Annapolis, Md.) as executive vice president. During her tenure at the SEC, she was responsible for implementing corporate security, information security and IT business continuity programs. At RiskWatch, Herrod will be developing an expanded management team, market expansion and business development into new markets, and also developing new products around the financial markets and operational risk.
Herrod has worked with RiskWatch as a client when she served as chief information officer for Fannie Mae. At Fannie Mae, she was part of the White House-sponsored Partnership for Critical Infrastructure Security as the Information Sharing and Analysis Working Group Chair.
