Crum & Forster Names SVP, Chief Claims Officer

Crum & Forster (C&F) has announced that Anthony R. Slimowicz will join the firm as SVP and Chief Claims Officer. His appointment is effective June 30, 2014.

Slimowicz most recently served as chief legal officer for Coordinated Health and COO for AJS Capital Holdings. He previously worked as VP and director of Zurich Financial Services, where he managed a wide range of business segments and held responsibility for claims and risk engineering for environmental, general liability and surety in the United States and United Kingdom.

“Anthony has an impressive background and I am excited to have him join our management team,” said Doug Libby, chairman and CEO of C&F, in a statement. “The claims department plays a critical role in the success of our company. Anthony and his senior management team will be responsible for leading the process to deliver the highest degree of customer service, along with fair and timely claims settlement.”
