CSC Signs Three Insurers for Policy Administration Software, Services

Three insurers, American Keystone Insurance Company (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.), Florida Peninsula Insurance Company (Boca Raton, Fla.) and Lititz Mutual (Lititz, Penn.), have signed on to implement CSC's (Austin, Texas) POINT IN midrange policy administration system.

POINT IN software and services give carriers the ability to automate policy administration, claims management, billing, collections, reinsurance and other processes, according to the vendor. The solution is currently used by more than 120 start-up, small and medium-sized insurance carriers and managing general agents.

Two of the newly-signed insurers, American Keystone Insurance Company and Florida Peninsula, have signed six-year business process outsourcing (BPO) contracts under which CSC will administer policies on the POINT-IN solution suite. Lititz Mutual has licensed the software for use at its facilities. Florida Peninsula and Lititz Mutual will also deploy CSC's Agency Link software, which enables independent agents to directly serve current accounts and initiate new ones over the Internet.
