Eileen Slevin Named to New York Life’s Executive Management Committee
Eileen Slevin, New York Life Insurance Company's senior vice president and chief information officer, has been appointed to the insurer's Executive Management Committee. The committee is made up of New York Life's senior executive leadership and helps the CEO in setting company policy.
Slevin directs a staff of more than 1,300 technology professionals in six locations throughout the U.S. She is responsible for setting the strategic technology direction of the company, including a wide range of technology services for New York Life customers, employees and agents. She also has direct responsibility for Business Resilience and Corporate Internet. Ms. Slevin joined New York Life in 1977 in the Group Insurance Department. After a transfer to the Corporate Information Department in 1995, Ms. Slevin was elected senior vice president in 1999 and chief information officer in 2007.
