EMPLOYERS Appoints IT and Underwriting Executives

EMPLOYERS has announced two executive appointments to its leadership team. Frank Buonomo has been named VP of IT and operations, and Larry Rogers will assume the role of SVP and chief underwriting officer.

Buonomo comes to EMPLOYERS with over twenty years of IT experience and has worked extensively in developing and integrating software, networking and computing systems to drive down operational costs. He most recently worked at Aon Service Corporation, where he oversaw global insurance consulting and risk management for Fortune 500 companies.

Twenty-five-year insurance industry vet Larry Rogers has strong experience in corporate office and field underwriting, specifically in developing strategies to build profitable growth. He comes to EMPLOYERS from Tower Group Companies, where he worked as the west zone executive and was responsible for business expansion into California and the West. Rogers previously held positions at Fireman’s Fund, Reliance Insurance Company and ITT Hartford Insurance Group.
