Selective Insurance Group (Branchville, NJ) named Daniel Bravo vice president of information technology services, and promoted Debra J. Wilber to vice president, e-business program office.

NEW KEMPER CEO

In preparation for the planned retirement of current Kemper (Long Grove, IL) CEO David Mathis, the firm's board has named William D. Smith CEO effective January 2003.

CONNELLY PROMOTED

Prudential Financial (Newark) named Beth Anne Connelly to the newly created position of chief operating officer and vice president, individual life insurance. Connelly was vice president of corporate center operations and systems.

PACIFICARE PROMOTION

Santa Ana, CA-based Pacificare Health Systems has named Pete McKinley senior vice president of network management. McKinley was president of Pacificare of California's Northern California operations.

Former ChannelPoint executive Jess Parks has been named vice president and general manager of Selectica's (San Jose, CA) eInsurance division.
