Farmers Picks MSB for Claims Initiative
Los Angeles-based Farmers Insurance has selected Marshall & Swift/Boeckh's (MSB; Milwaukee) platform for estimating property claims. The company already uses MSB's services for underwriting.
Farmers Specialty, the carrier's auxiliary products subsidiary, will lead the implementation of the cost data and associated estimating technologies.
"The accuracy and completeness of the MSB data coupled with the ease of use tailored by the MSB staff proved this to be the natural choice for our business to prepare for the next evolution of the claims landscape," James Daues, Farmers' SVP of claims, says in a statement.
