Fireman’s Fund Insurance Appoints Aon Vet CIO
P&C insurer Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company has announced that John Elliott will take on the position of CIO. He most recently served as SVP and CIO of Aon Risk Solutions.
As CIO, Elliott will be responsible for aligning company technology to meet business objectives. He will manage the current IT teams in Enterprise Architecture, IT Infrastructure Services, IT Application Services, and IT Strategy and Special Projects. He replaces Alexander Bockelmann in the role.

Elliott has over 20 years of technology leadership experience. Prior to his position at Aon Risk, he ran the global IT Program Management Office, and the Outsource and Offshore Program, at Bear Stearns. He has also worked for McKinsey and Company, and as an active duty officer.
