Foresters Appoints TIAA-CREF Vet President, CEO

Anthony Garcia has more than 26 years of executive management and leadership experience in the US life and annuity industry.

Foresters has announced the appointment of Anthony (Tony) Garcia as president and CEO. He will succeed current leader George Mohacsi, who plans to retire on June 30.

Garcia brings more than 26 years of leadership experience in the US life and annuity industry. He most recently served as president of Western and Southern Agency Group. Previously, Garcia held the position of president and CEO at TIAA-CREF Life Insurance Company in addition to various roles at Allstate, HSBC and the HealthMarkets life and health subsidiaries.
