GD Itronix Releases GD6000 Vehicle-Rugged Notebook Computer
General Dynamics Itronix (Spokane Valley, Wash.), provider of wireless, rugged computing solutions for mobile workers, has released the newest model in its line of rugged computer products, the GD6000 Vehicle-rugged notebook
The GD6000 is designed for claims representatives, field technicians, public safety and law enforcement personnel, and others whose offices are in trucks, patrol cars, utility vans or other vehicles. Based on the General Dynamics Itronix GoBook VR-2, the new GD6000 notebooks are designed to work on the road. GD6000 notebooks combine high-performance computing with secure, wireless-network connectivity, says the company.
