Jon Pease Named President of WellComp Managed Care Services

Jon Pease has been named president of Ventura, Calif.-based WellComp Managed Care Services, Inc., a provider of managed care services to California employers and medical bill review services throughout the U.S.

Pease will oversee business development, operations, staffing, recruiting and strategic planning for WellComp. The firm's medical bill review services and managed care services include medical bill, utilization and physician reviews; a California medical provider network; nurse case management; return-to-work programs; special investigation and surveillance; special funds recovery; and litigation management. Pease will also be responsible for expanding WellComp's complete managed care capabilities outside California.

Pease earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Southern California and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He has worked in the bill review industry for more than two decades, most recently serving as President of PacMed, Inc., a national bill review company based in Ventura, California.
