Karlyn Carnahan Joins Novarica

Karlyn Carnahan has joined Novarica, a division of Novantas LLC (New York) focused on markets, operations and technology for insurers and financial institutions. Novarica provides information, insights, and perspective on markets, operations, and technology to financial services and insurance executives and project teams.

Carnahan is an industry veteran who has held senior executive roles at Fireman's Fund, InsWeb, and Sun Microsystems. She will join the firm as a principal, reporting to insurance practice director Matthew Josefowicz, and will be located in the company's San Francisco office. Ms. Carnahan recently served as vice president of marketing for Fireman's Fund commercial lines division, where she successfully launched several programs, expanded online customer self-service capabilities, and took a leading position in formulating IT strategy. She also served as global industry manager for Sun Microsystems, and senior vice president of product development for InsWeb.
