Meadowbrook Promotes Regional VP to Chief Underwriting Officer

Meadowbrook Insurance Group, Inc. has named Roger S. Walleck, CPCU, AIS as chief underwriting officer. He will manage the underwriting activity for Meadowbrook’s insurance subsidiaries, Corporate Loss Control, Regulatory Compliance, Premium Audit and Reinsurance Operations.

Walleck joined Meadowbrook in 2005 and has over 33 years of experience in commercial underwriting and operations. He most recently served as the regional VP for Meadowbrook’s program division in Overland Park, Kansas. Prior to that, Walleck was VP for the insurer’s Florida operation and also worked at Liberty Mutual.

“I look forward to assuming this new role and working closely with our executive and actuarial teams, as well as our field leadership, to ensure we maintain underwriting discipline and enhance our underwriting expertise to drive consistent, profitable results across all of our program and product segments,” says Walleck. “Through consistent interaction and regular communications with our teams in the field, we will proactively respond to changes in the environment as we maintain our standards.”
