Millers Mutual Implements Duck Creek Rating

Harrisburg, Pa.-based Millers Mutual Group, a regional property and casualty insurer, has implemented Duck Creek Rating, a quoting and rating platform from Bolivar, Mo.-based Duck Creek Technologies.

The implementation is part an IT modernization effort announced last year. The first phase provides self-service access for the commercial package policies, commercial auto, commercial propert, general liability, inland marine and worker's compensation lines of business.

"Our reasons for choosing Duck Creek were validated in the speed of the implementation and the ease of working with their staff," said Larry Fortin, CIO of Millers Mutual Group. "The modern architecture of the system allows us to leverage some of our existing proprietary programs while positioning us for additional growth. Most importantly, we wanted to be able to facilitate easier communication and a faster quoting process with our independent agents."
