American Strategic Insurance (St. Petersburg, FL) awarded a contract to Resonate Inc. (Sunnyvale, CA) for use of its Commander Solutions to ensure quality end-user experiences for insurance brokers accessing applications.

OHIO NATIONALCONTRACT

Cincinnati-based Ohio National Financial Services, Inc., has chosen AnnuityNet, Inc. (Leesburg, VA), to be a preferred provider of annuity technology services. The arrangement will allow Ohio National to implement an Internet-based order entry platform for the company's fixed and variable annuity lines.

TANTIA/BCBS CONTRACT

Tantia Technologies (Boulder, CO) has been awarded a contract by the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association (BCBSA, Chicago). The agreement provides Tantia's file transfer solution, Harbor HFT, as an option on BCBSA's high-bandwidth, nationwide IP network called BluesNet.

AETNA RENEWS BISYS

BISYS (New York), a provider of business process outsourcing for the financial services sector, renewed its services agreements with Aetna Group Insurance (Hartford). BISYS will continue to provide processing capabilities and complete account-holder services for Aetna Benefits Checkbook accounts.

JACADA WINS CONTRACT

South Carolina Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Co. (West Columbia, SC) has selected Jacada Ltd.'s (Atlanta) Interface Server to provide a new graphical interface for multiple IBM applications.
