CIGNA TAPS EDS

Online billing and payment services will be made available to CIGNA Group Insurance customers as the result of an arrangement between Philadelphia-based CIGNA Group Insurance and Plano, TX-based EDS.

COSS CONTRACT WIN

Milwaukee-based COSS Development Corp. has entered into a 10-year license agreement with The Cincinnati Life Insurance Company (Fairfield, OH). The agreement affords Cincinnati Life Insurance unlimited use and distribution rights to COSS' Enterprise Solution Suite.

GENTRAN CONTRACTS

Genelco Software Solutions (St Louis) announced that its partnership with Sterling Commerce (Columbus, OH) has resulted in several licenses of Gentran, a Windows-based EDI translator software. Companies recently licensing Gentran include American Administrators (West Des Moines), Anthem Benefit Administrators, Inc. (Columbus), and Canada Life Assurance Company (Toronto).

SHIN KONG/SOLCORP

Shin Kong Life Insurance Co. (Taipei) awarded a contract to SOLCORP (Toronto) for the INGENIUM browser-based administration system to launch a new variable universal life/variable annuity product.

GUARDIAN CONTRACT

Thomson Financial (New York), an operating unit of the Thomson Corp., has been awarded a contract by the Guardian Insurance & Annuity Co. (New York) for use of its Thomson Advisor ONE for wealth management services.
