Proposal Software Releases 2008 PMAPS

Westport, Conn.-based Proposal Software, Inc., a proposal management platform provider, has released the 11th update of its RFP (Request for Proposal) and RFI (Request for Information) management software platform, PMAPS 2008.

The new version includes a new Search Accelerator module. This Web-based module functionality expands the existing PMAPS Web-based "read-only" Document Portal. It includes "Pitch Book" capabilities in the Assembly module and the ability to search anywhere and index Word, PowerPoint, Excel, HTML and PDF file content. This latest module includes a combination of a Web application working with local Microsoft Office technology as well as a way to access and maintain customer data when using the PMAPS On Demand hosted SaaS configuration. PMAPS 2008 also includes sales and marketing tools that enable users to integrate, exchange and coordinate data with a variety of external database formats, particularly CRM platforms. PMAPS 2008 has more than 100 additions and improvements designed to increase business efficiencies and cost savings.
