Selective Insurance Announces Technology Officer Appointments

Branchville, N.J.-based Selective Insurance Company of America has made several technology officer appointments.

Linda Hill has been named assistant vice president, information delivery operations for Selective's Information Technology Services area. Ms. Hill joined Selective in February 2006 as a senior application manager. Prior to joining Selective, she served in various application management roles for Johnson & Higgins, BASF and MetLife.

Chip Linehan has been appointed assistant vice president, data warehouse operations for Selective's Information Technology Services (ITS) area. Mr. Linehan joined Selective in May 1995 as a distribution clerk, and has held a variety of management positions throughout Selective's ITS operations.

Selective has named Eric P. Thiessen to the position of assistant vice president information and business intelligence architecture for Selective's Information Technology Services area. Mr. Thiessen joined Selective in July 1995 as a programmer before being promoted to application manager in 1999 and senior application manager in 2002.
