Selective Insurance Group's board of directors has elected John Marchioni as president and COO, the company reported today. Gregory Murphy, who remains chairman and CEO, previously held the president title.
Marchioni had served as EVP of insurance operations, with oversight for Selective's property and casualty insurance operations, since December 2008. He joined Selective in 1998. In his new role, he is responsible for actuarial, HR, and IT areas.
