Southern Mutual Insurance Implements Insuresoft’s Diamond v5.0 Policy Processing System

Athens, Ga.-based Southern Mutual Insurance Company (SMIC) has successfully installed Insuresoft's (University Park, Ill.) Diamond v5.0 policy processing system. In addition, SMIC has deployed several of Insuresoft's value added products including Diamond Publisher for print fulfillment and the Diamond Web Portal for inquiry.

SMIC has been a Diamond user since 1998 and is the first customer to be in production with Diamond v5.0. Diamond v5.0 is built on the Microsoft .Net 3.5 Framework and leverages WCF for its secure communication infrastructure, visual inheritance for its extendable UI architecture and SQL 2005/2008 for its database backend.
