Atlanta - DWL released DWL Customer version 5.5, its customer data integration software. A data stewardship application interface produces lists of duplicate suspect customer records and identifies the best suspect match for the party in question as well as managing data survivorship rules that automatically select the best data for the surviving customer record. New features include improved integration with other applications and automation of customization, DWL says.

Boca Raton, Fla. - LexisNexis' RiskWise service allows insurers to fight fraud with the Rate Evasion Evaluation solution, which addresses rate evasion and detects fraud by verifying information using multiple databases in either a Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) or non-FCRA environment. The solution, part of the Fraud Triage application, also validates provided information, identifies application misrepresentation at any time during the life of a claim and provides results via batch or system-to-system processing.

Salt Lake City - Silex Technology America added SecurePrint to its biometrics product line. With SecurePrint, a document sent to the printer by an individual will not print until the user places his or her pre-enrolled finger on the fingerprint reader located at the printer. The software uses a unique pattern of data points taken from the fingerprint rather than the actual fingerprint to maintain individual privacy.
