William Diaz to Head Marsh Client Technologies

William Diaz has been appointed head of Marsh Client Technologies, a newly-formed unit that comprises MarshConnect, Marsh's (New York, N.Y.) global client technology interface, and CS STARS, provider of risk and claims management systems and related data services.

Diaz will work with Marsh's clients and the organization's leaders to enhance the firm's client-facing technology resources and capabilities. Since 2006, Diaz has led the organization's MarshConnect client interface.

"By aligning our client-facing technologies under a single business leader, we expect to achieve synergies that accelerate our ability to develop enhanced technology-based solutions and services and to make them available to a wider range of clients," says Joseph McSweeny, president of U.S./Canada operations for Marsh.
